So I guess you could say that racing started now!  But unfortunately we only had a time trial.  The bike is sweet though and the position is comfy and fast.  The wind was friggin' nuts though!  I was going between 20-35km/h on the way out and 50-70km/h on the way back!  NUTS!  I rode a decent time and almost finished top half and I didn't even have all the details dialed!  Sweet...

 

And then... on Sunday... it was so cold and windy and snowing... We sat around until 12:00 through two delays before they officially cancelled the race!  I was indifferent by that time as we had driven down and paid our money but it was really gross out and it would have been a late night... so life goes on.  I still don't really say that the race season has begun though... a couple more weeks now.

 

Today I had my bar training at Starbucks!  If anyone was wondering I went 2/2 on my first two shots and then it all went down as a poorly scheduled bar training time of 11:00-3:00 was ridiculously busy!  It didn't work very well.  But I ended up with lots of compliments with all my hard work.  Now I can't wait to get to Westgate with the "monkey-operated" Verismo.

 

And how bout them crazy Oilers!  4 goals in the last 20 minutes and they throw down their first series victory in 8 years!
